Getting Started

Step 1 - Tabs at the Top of the Page

Take a moment to notice the tabs at the top of the page. “Home” will bring you back to this page. “Join Now” is the page where you enter your company information and set up your username and password for access to Bellenjoy. “Login” is the actual login page in which you enter your username and password for access to the Bellenjoy database. “FAQ” is the page which contains an explanation of how Bellenjoy operates and the advantages to be found from using Bellenjoy. “Contact” brings up an email page if you need to send me a message.

Step 2 - How to Join Adultprebooks.com

Click on the “Join Now” tab at the top of the page. Next, click on “Type of Membership” and enter “Studio”. Next,please enter the requested company information. As Bellenjoy is not a public website, we request that you establish a secure username and password for your account. After you have entered the information, click on the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page. After the information is submitted, a verification and validation process occurs resulting in a return email confirming receipt of your information, your username and password. Once you receive your confirmation email, you are set to enter the website.

Step 3 - How to Login to the Adultprebooks.com

Return to the Bellenjoy website and click on the “Log In” tab at the top of the page. Next, please select “Studio” as your membership type, and enter your username and password. Then, click on the “Login” button. If the information is entered correctly, you will be taken to the “Movie Control Center where you can begin adding movies and viewing information.”

Step 4 - The Movie Control Center

As a Studio member, you have a number of options available to you in the Movie Control Center, these include:

• Directly accessing the Bellenjoy database to see what movies are currently pre-selling. This is an ideal way to help you position your products for maximum effectiveness by conducting searches for similar movies by category, company, star or director and seeing what other studios are doing.

• Looking at the tabs at the top of the page, you will see that you have a number of options available to you. These include:

• “Edit Account” where you can change the contact information, username and password for your studio,

• “Printable Materials” where you can preview the printed output from the Bellenjoy database in the form of various lists and flyers,

• “Product Style Sheet” where you can customize the appearance of the Mini-Posters (i.e. one-sheets) that are promoting your movies,

• “Add Products” where you can add new movies to the Bellenjoy database, and,

• “Edit Products” where you can change the data for any previous movie or submit a similar product by only changing a few data fields.

Step 5 - Adding New Movies

Click on “Add Products” and you will see the Manufacturer/Studio Data Entry Form. This is where you enter the information for each title that you will be pre-selling. Copying and pasting are the easiest way to connect our database with your information in less than five minutes. While the data fields are self explanatory, here are a few helpful hints to make your life easier.

As the sleeve art supplied to the Bellenjoy database is used to generate printed flyers, using images with less than 150ppi (pixels per inch) will result in flyers with less than acceptable artwork. The Bellenjoy database automatically resizes the submitted image for use as thumbnails in the searchable database and as images for reproduction in the point-of-sale flyers (think of one-sheets) that are used in the acrylic frames to promote your products. Images larger than 300 ppi will result in a slow-to-load image and should also be avoided when possible.

If you are pre-selling several versions of the same movie in different formats, i.e. dvd, hd-dvd and blu-ray, you only need to enter all the information once. After the first item is in the database, go to the “Edit Products” page, locate the movie, and click on the “Create Similar Product” link. Change only those data fields that pertain to the subsequent versions of the movie. For example, you might just need to change the UPC code and format if the rest of the data stays the same. After you have made your changes for a movie, click on the “Submit” button. Done!!

Step 6 - Product Style Sheet - Customizing Your Mini-Posters

After 30 years of selling movies, I know how much money and effort goes into establishing a brand image. Knowing how much a Studio values its' image and wants to maintain control over how its' movies are presented to the public, Bellenjoy allows you to completely customize the appearance of your Mini-Posters from the "Product Style Sheet". If you have custom colors, you can use the colors in your backgrounds and text on your Mini-Poster. On the "Product Style Sheet" page, you can enter the colors, view a poster layout showing the placement of the various poster elements, and reference our color charts for websafe colors.

Step 7 - Printable Materials - Viewing Your Movie's Output

After you have finished entering all your movies, please return to the “Printable Materials” page. Here, you can see how your movies will appear in the searchable database; in the various lists used for flyers and advertising; in the mini-poster to be used in the acrylic fixtures; and, in the custom order forms to be faxed to your distributors. First, choose a date range that will include the movies that you are interested in viewing. Next, you should choose whether you’d like to view either the “Text List”, “Mini-Poster” or "Order Form."

If you choose “Text List,” you can try sorting by the various catagories and see where your movie falls within the lists. If you choose “Mini-Poster,” you will see a list of movies that fall within the dates that you chose. Click on the title of the movie and the mini-poster (i.e. one-sheet) will be created right in front of your eyes by the Bellenjoy database. This is also where you would check to see if your “Style Sheet” parameters have the desired effect.

As a reminder, if you want to change the way your Mini-Poster appears, click on the “Style Sheet” tab and change the fields to reflect your color choices. Convenient layout and color charts are provided at the bottom of the page with the associated color values for your convenience.
